Sharlyn Smith chairs private sector committee on Registrar General Department

At the invitation of the Attorney General, Sharlyn Smith chaired a private sector sub-committee which reviewed practices involved in the registration of deeds at the Deeds and Documents Section of the Registrar General’s Department.

In the 2014 World Bank ‘Ease of Doing Business Survey’, the “Registering Property” category was one of three in which The Bahamas was able to maintain its ranking.
